The Office of the Academic Vice President (AVP) serves as the chief academic officer of the institute. The AVP is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all academic programs.
Br. Samson Mekonnen leads the academic division with a focus on student-centered learning, ensuring that our medical and social science curricula remain relevant to the needs of Ethiopia while adhering to international standards.

Our medical curriculum is modular and integrated, ensuring students master specific skills before progressing. We emphasize demonstrable outcomes over rote memorization.
