Parents & Families

You are an integral part of the ECUSTA community. We are partners in your child's success.

Safety & Security

We understand that safety is your primary concern. ECUSTA HLI maintains a secure, enclosed campus environment.

24/7 Security

Our campus is gated with 24-hour security personnel. Entry is strictly monitored, and all visitors must register at the main gate.

Dormitory Access

The female dormitory block has controlled access and a dedicated matron available 24/7. A strict curfew is enforced for student safety.

Health Support

Our on-campus Clinic handles minor ailments and emergencies during the day. We have protocols in place for transport to nearby referral hospitals if needed.

Financial Planning

Budgeting for your student's education involves more than just tuition fees. Living costs in Addis Ababa can vary significantly. We recommend planning ahead for housing, food, transportation, and study materials.

For a detailed breakdown of current tuition rates and dormitory fees, please contact the Finance Office directly or request the official fee schedule via email.

Payment Channels

Tuition payments should be deposited directly to the university bank account. To ensure proper crediting:

  • Always write theStudent's Full Name and ID Number on the deposit slip.
  • Keep the original deposit slip; a digital copy/photo is not sufficient for official receipt issuance.
  • We do not accept cash payments at the Finance Office.

Visiting Your Student

Visiting Hours

Parents are welcome to visit students on weekends. Please check with Student Services for the current visiting hours schedule.

Location

Our campus is located in the Nefas Silk Lafto sub-city. If you are traveling from outside Addis Ababa, there are several hotels in the Jemo/Mekanisa area suitable for accommodation.

Academic Monitoring

ECUSTA respects student privacy regulations. Grades and academic records are released directly to the student. However, we encourage open communication.

If you are paying tuition, you have a right to know if your student is enrolled and in good financial standing. For academic concerns, please encourage your student to schedule a meeting with their Academic Advisor involving you.
